Last Updated: May 27, 2026
At Chopstick Organics, we strive to deliver the highest quality advisory, audit, and training services for sustainable agriculture and supply chain development. Because our services consist of professional consulting, advisory, and tailored software implementations, we operate under the following Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Please read this policy carefully before completing your booking or submitting payment. By confirming your booking, you agree to the terms below.
1. Consultation & Training Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled virtual consultation, onsite assessment, or training session, the following rules apply:
- Advance Notice Required: You must notify us of your intent to cancel or reschedule at least 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled session.
- Rescheduling: Sessions cancelled with at least 7 days' notice can be rescheduled at no additional cost, subject to availability.
- Late Cancellation Fees: Cancellations made with less than 7 days' notice are subject to a late cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled session value. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend a scheduled session (no-show), will result in a 100% forfeiture of the fee for that session.
2. Project-Based Services & Milestone Refunds
For custom, project-based contracts (such as Blockchain Supply Chain Integration or Product Development campaigns):
- Consulting Fees: Fees paid for completed consulting hours, assessments, site audits, or deliverables that have already been generated and sent to the client are non-refundable.
- Milestone-Based Refunds: Projects are structured in distinct phases. If a project is cancelled by the client mid-project, any funds paid for the current active milestone or completed milestones are non-refundable. Funds paid in advance for future, uncommenced milestones may be refunded, minus a 10% administrative processing fee.
- Project Initiation: Once project kick-off occurs, the initial deposit is non-refundable as it covers research, resource planning, and project setup.
3. Card Payment Refund Processing
To comply with Wise and the credit/debit card association network regulations, the following payment refund rules are strictly enforced:
- Original Payment Method Only: All refunds for transactions processed via credit or debit cards will be returned exclusively to the original payment card used to make the purchase. We will not issue card refunds via cash, check, bank transfer, or store credit to other accounts.
- No Cash Back: Clients are strictly prohibited from receiving cash or bank transfer refunds for payments originally processed via credit/debit card, except where mandated by local consumer protection laws.
- Refund Currency: All card refunds will be processed in the original transaction currency: United States Dollars (USD, $). Any fluctuations in exchange rate between the date of payment and the date of refund are the responsibility of the client.
- Processing Time: Once we approve a refund, it will be submitted to our payment processor (Wise) within 3 business days. The funds typically take between 5 to 10 business days to appear on your card statement, depending on your card issuer.
4. Service Disputes & Resolution
If you are dissatisfied with any part of our service, we encourage you to contact us directly to seek a resolution.
- Dispute notifications must be sent in writing to info@chopstickorganics.com within 14 calendar days of receiving the service or deliverable.
- We will review your dispute details and contact you within 3 business days to find an amicable resolution, which may include re-performing the service, adjusting future milestone payments, or issuing a partial refund for uncompleted project segments.
